[gdal-dev] Support for dimap v2

Dear listers,

I have some SPOT6 data that I would like to read and convert which comes as dimap v2 (http://www.astrium-geo.com/en/3030-pleiades-and-spot-6-7-format-delivery; the data I have uses georeferenced geotiffs). According to http://www.gdal.org/frmt_various.html it seems that gdal generally supports read access to dimap, no v2 is mentioned though. I tried a simple gdalinfo - which failed:


$ gdalinfo --version
GDAL 1.11.0, released 2014/04/16
$ gdalinfo DIM_SPOT6_PMS_201409222143250_SEN_1026528101.XML 
ERROR 4: Failed to find <Raster_Dimensions> in document.
gdalinfo failed - unable to open 'DIM_SPOT6_PMS_201409222143250_SEN_1026528101.XML'.



Does anybody know how to open/convert dimap v2 using GDAL (or another open source package)?
