[gdal-dev] Grayscale To RGB

Hello,

I want to change a grayscale image to an RGB image, because the gdalbuildvrt
utility only accepts images with the same channels.
Is there a way to do it with the gdal_translate or gdal_calc utilities or
with other utilities.
