[gdal-dev] gdal.org only works with www.gdal.org now?

It appears that the GDAL website only responds to www.gdal.org now, and not gdal.org.  I usually let my history fill it in, which has always been without the www (instead of using bookmarks).  There is also a hardwired gdal.org link on the main page, to the GDAL 1.x documentation.
