[gdal-dev] Building GDAL on HP-UX as .so

Hello,

I'm trying to build the library under HP-UX B.11.31.
I can't complete building using BuildingOnUnix how to, seems a compiler
problem using aCC standard compiler.
I've tried to install gcc plus its dependencies, gmake and other, obtaining
a succesful build as .a.
The software using GDAL now works using this archive, but resulting
executable is a bit too large, and i'm trying to use a shared object to
have its size reduced.
As the guide suggested, i've tried to change GDALmake.opt but, having
LD_SHARED = yes seems not doing it's work.

Someone have succesfully build a .so in HP-UX?
