Glad to hear that the written GDAL fiile will be more usable by those
wanting
to print same.  Thanks for your effort on this, as well as GDAL in
general which
I extensively use in the maps I create for hikers.

Thanks also for the background behind why someone would want a
non-default UserUnit written to their PDF file.
