[gdal-dev] GDAL compile error: expected initializer before ‘__attribute_alloc_size__’

Hi,
I'm trying to build GDAL 2.4.1 with gcc 8.3.0 on a CentOS 7 system. However, I get the below error. Any ideas on how to proceed? This works fine with older gcc, e.g., 5.4
