[gdal-dev] Issues installing gdal from source code

Perhaps I'm missing something, but I'm seeing no throw specifications on my
2.1 source.  I'm guessing you're finding header files from a version that
is different from the version you're trying to compile.  I'd search your
system for "cpl_string.h" and compare with the include directories used
during compilation.
