[gdal-dev] Using GdalOgrInCSharp on Mac/Linux

Has anyone ever tried (and/or succeeded) to use GdalOgrInCSharp under MONO
on Mac and/or Linux?

The Wiki posts from Tamas
<https://trac.osgeo.org/gdal/wiki/GdalOgrInCsharp>suggest
that this is possible - but the direction from there is to look at BuildBot
- so that does not really help.

Google searches on the subject are eerily quite!

So - I thought I would see of there are any points (other than "here be
dragons") before I start .. ?
