[gdal-dev] Installing the latest GDAL version on ubuntu 20.04

Yup, tried both 

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntugis/ubuntugis-unstable
sudo apt-get update

and

sudo -E add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntugis/ubuntugis-unstable
sudo apt-get update


Hi,

Did you try the following?

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntugis/ubuntugis-unstable
sudo apt-get update

Not sure what you tried
