[gdal-dev] Driver DCAP flags

Quick question...

Is it a definitive check for whether a GDALDriver is a Vector or Raster
driver to look for either DCAP_VECTOR=YES or DCAP_RASTER=YES in the default
meta-data?

Is every (vector or raster) driver guaranteed to have one or other of those?
