I agree Sphinx is a priority need for our projects just as Breathe is, but it doesn't appear Sphinx has clear financial infrastructure beyond GitHub Sponsors. I don't know if that is the appropriate place to put financial resources to work for the project. If you want to work through finding someone to be able to take resources and help to manage them using them to move the project forward, we should explore that avenue as well. 

RTD has the ability to send us an invoice, and that ultimately means a lot as far as being able to send money places and have it be effective.
