[gdal-dev] ERDAS ECW/JPEG2000 SDK 6.1

I understand the ERDAS will be releasing version 6.1 of the ECW/JPEG2000 SDK "soon" which eliminates size limitations for licensees of the write capability.  Are you aware of this and if so do you have an idea when it could become available in GDAL?
