yes. The 25D stuff in GDAL for the non-curve geometry types precedes ISO
standardization of the Z encoding. When we added support for curve
geometry types, we used the ISO Z naming and numeric encoding, but
didn't dare touching existing enumeration values. A potential GDAL 4.0
clean-up topic for brave people
