From rykovd at gmail.com Thu Oct 1 09:00:28 2026 From: rykovd at gmail.com (Denis Rykov) Date: Thu, 1 Oct 2026 18:00:28 +0200 Subject: [gdal-dev] Regression introduced by e4514b12 Message-ID: The threshold is meant to catch over-long literals, but it also captures every negative int64 whose magnitude has 19 digits (sign + 19 digits = 20 chars). No positive int64 reaches 20 characters, since INT64_MAX has 19 digits - so only negative values are affected. Impact: the field is typed Real instead of Integer64, so consumers see a float column. If the field also holds large positive values, those lose precision too - e.g. INT64_MAX then reads back as 9223372036854775808.0 (2^63). The regression is specific to the GeoJSON reader's streaming number parser. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Is that true? And is it still relevant anyway? Thanks. There seems to be a new v6.1 version, but I'm not sure the free desktop read-only licence still exists. https://support.octave.com/s/article/ERDAS-ECW-JP2-SDK-v6-1-Release-Announcement?language=en_US Would anyone have a local copy of the previous v5.5.0 desktop read-only sdk for linux, that could be used for the GDAL compilation? I'm looking for the binary *ECWJP2SDKSetup_5.5.0.2268-Update4-Linux.zip *or *ECWJP2SDKSetup_5.5.0.2421-Update6-Linux.zip* Thanks a lot !
