I'm just saying that the original proposal intends to reduce a burden on
maintainers, and I don't see how it accomplishes that. There may be other
reasons to rework the AI policy, but that wasn't what I thought this thread
was about. And of course, updating and debating the policy every few months
is a cost in of itself.
