I compiled gdal 1.6 from svn source with libcurl, when running gdalinfo --formats wcs, and wms support is listed.<BR>
But when running gdalinfo descriptor.xml I get the following error:<BR>

ERROR 6: GDAL/OGR not compiled with libcurl support, remote requests not support<BR>ed.<BR>gdalinfo failed - unable to open 'nwgis.xml'.<BR>

<BR>
why is wcs format is listed as supported but giving an error of not being compiled with libcurl?<BR>
