I just tried downloading and building the latest gdal, version 1.7.0.<br>
I wanted to build it with the new dxf support. The dxf dir is present<br>
in the source tree. While making ogr it enters the dxf dir but does<br>
nothing:<br>

make -C dxf<br>
make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/local/src/gdal-1.7.0/ogr/ogrsf_frmts/dxf'<br>
