Has anyone used GDAL to convert a NetCDF file from a tripolar grid
(Murray 1996) to a more traditional
<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1">
longitude-latitude Cartesian grid?<br>

I'm trying to visualize climate data from this site (which also has a
further explanation of the particular tripolar grid being used):<br>
