Paul,<br><br>1.7 doesn't support some geometry types that 1.8 does. GDAL1.8 is yet to be released. You have to build it yourselves.<br>You can find a nightly snapshot of the source code for the trunk (1.8) at <a href="http://trac.osgeo.org/gdal/wiki/DownloadSource#NightlySnapshots">http://trac.osgeo.org/gdal/wiki/DownloadSource#NightlySnapshots</a><br>
