Hi All<br />
       Can anyone guide me in building java with gdal.what are the <br />
       requirements.do i necessarily need Osgeo4W or without it also <br />
       one can proceed.(I have gone through the link  <br />

      but still i need to know the process as i later want to connect<br />
      the build with Oracle spatial.<br />

       Does the code of ogr2ogr.java from    <br />
     http://trac.osgeo.org/gdal/browser/trunk/gdal/swig/java/apps/<br />
        helps in converting oracle spatial to shapefile?<br />
