Hi,<br>
i would like be able to make use of GDALGridCreate() in my python
code. Since it has not been mapped to python i'd like to do that
myself. I don't have experience with this though, so i am looking
for some direction on how to get started. I read up a little on it
and i think i understand the general procedure. <br>
<br>
However, to get started i need some more specifics. Basically, how
do i get started regenerating?<br>
I downloaded <span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(51,
51, 51); font-family: Arial, Verdana, Geneva, 'Bitstream Vera
Sans', Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; font-style: normal;
font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal;
line-height: 17px; orphans: 2; text-align: -webkit-auto;
text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: nowrap;
widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-decorations-in-effect:
none; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; -webkit-text-stroke-width:
0px; background-color: rgb(239, 239, 239); "><a

style="color: rgb(0, 0, 170); text-decoration: none; ">GDAL-1.7.1.tar.gz</a></span>.
from <a href="http://pypi.python.org/pypi/GDAL/">http://pypi.python.org/pypi/GDAL/</a>.
On the website it says that in order to regenerate i nned to:<br>
make generate (which i see as a target in the GNUMakefile) from the
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);
font-family: Arial, Verdana, Geneva, 'Bitstream Vera Sans',
Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; font-style: normal;
font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal;
line-height: 21px; orphans: 2; text-align: -webkit-auto;
text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal;
widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-decorations-in-effect:
none; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; -webkit-text-stroke-width:
0px; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); ">./swig/python
directory:</span><br>
However, there is no swig/python directory. <br>
<br>
I realize that these question are probably very basic, but a push in
the right direction would be appreciated.<br>
<br>
thanks<br>
