Both of them will load all the data into memory. </div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">We would like to write a new KML driver for GDAL, a streaming version, so as to reduce memory consumption. We would still want to use LIBKML, so that we don't have to reinvent the wheels. However, the LIBKML only supports SAX API, and GDAL doesn't seems to works with that very well.
