<div dir="ltr">Hi,<div>Many thanks for GDAL. I spent some time on <a href="http://gdal.org">gdal.org</a>, the git repo, the Anaconda repo, and even tried a Homebrew installation. I cannot get a working installation on my mac.</div><div><br></div><div>As I guess conda was supposed to be the default and foolproof way to get started, let me explain how dependencies break.</div><div><br></div><div>Here is how a simple "conda install gdal" proceeds. It did not seem to make a difference to activate an environment I use for the Intel Python Distro or not, or specify the conda-forge channel or not.</div><div><br></div><div>
