Our TAP7 application (www.softwright.com) has been using GDAL since we rewrote it in C# from VB 6. I just grabbed the binaries from Tamas's build site (<a href="https://www.gisinternals.com/release.php" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" data-auth="NotApplicable">https://www.gisinternals.com/release.php</a>).

I have tried to upgrade from 2.1.2 to 2.3.1 and then 2.4.3 using the Windows x64 binaries. Today I tried the 2.4.4 NuGet package. In all upgrade cases, my application suddenly ran half as fast using the newer versions.</div>

Does anyone have any clue what could have changed between 2.1.2 and 2.3.1 to account for longer raster read times? When I looked at the release notes, nothing jumps out at me.</div>
