Our algorithm is written in C++, and we also have a version that utilizes CUDA for GPU acceleration.</p>

However, he informed me of the incompatibilities between GDAL and CUDA, but encouraged me to share my intentions with the group. While it may not be as efficient for calculating the viewshed of a small set of points, it is incredibly useful for determining the viewshed of an entire territory, such as for selecting the location of a cell phone tower or for forest surveillance path planning. Our algorithm can complete these types of calculations in a matter of minutes, as opposed to thousands of hours.</p>
