For those engaged in academic work at PhD level or higher the
following positions in the JRC's "grantholder" programme at their base
in Ispra in Italy look interesting. Were I eligible i would jump at it!

   IES-300821 - Geo-spatial data interoperability and modeling

   IES-300822 - Socio-economic evaluation of spatial data infrastructure

   IES-300823 - Policy analysis and information requirements in relation to
   INSPIRE and SEIS development
