Hi GeoForAll-Africa!

I am forwarding an invite to the Global Land Tool Network meeting, held 
24-26 April in Nairobi.  Some background: Arnulf Christl has been going 
amazing work for so many years building the OSGeo-GLTN relationship (see 
the MoU at https://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/GLTN).  I have discussed this 
meeting with Arnulf briefly, and I suggested that we ask the 
GeoForAll-Africa network for help (to possibly find an OSGeo 
representative interested in attending the meeting).  Arnulf is the 
expert here and can add more info, but I wanted to bring this to the 
attention of the GeoForAll-Africa group.  Thanks!  -jeff

We have extended the deadline for registration to the 7^th Partners’ 
Meeting to *Friday 9^th March 2018.*

We appreciate all those who have responded so far to the first call for 
registration. For those who missed the initial deadline, kindly submit 
your confirmation of participation along with your request for funding 
via email to *Melissa Permezel*at *melissa.permezel at un.org 
<mailto:melissa.permezel at un.org>*with a copy to *Victor Wainaina*at 
*victor.wainaina at un.org <mailto:victor.wainaina at un.org>.*Please note 
that funding on a cost-sharing basis is now very limited and will now 
only be considered for particular cases. Ensure that you indicate if you 
will require an invitation letter for visa processing purposes or any 
additional assistance that you may require for timely assistance.

Remember that you’re are welcome to host networking events, 
masterclasses and other side events on the */23^rd /*/and*27^th */*of
