[GeoForAll-Iberoamerica] Applied research open positions in Catalan SME companies

I would appreciate that you circulate this information among researchers who may be interested in an applied research position in the areas of geomatics and navigation at GeoNumerics<http://www.geonumerics.com/> (Castelldefels, Spain).

The autonomous government of Catalonia has issued a call for project proposals for applied research projects with the goal of hiring experienced researchers through 2-year employment contracts with Catalan companies and technology centres.

The proposals shall target applied research projects with a clear market focus. Projects must be aimed at developing a new technology and bringing it to the market. The proposal submission deadline is 2019-09-19.

The candidates must not have resided or carried out their main activity in the country of their host organisation (in this case GeoNumerics, Spain) for more than 12 months in 3 years immediately prior to the deadline for the submission of applications. Exceptions will be made for candidates with justified career breaks.

The contractual conditions for the winners cover the following items, per year:

  *   Salary costs (with full social security coverage): 58,500 EUR
  *   Research costs: 18,240 EUR

  *   Mobility costs: 1,920 EUR
