Nikos, yesterday we had the meeting that I told you in previous mails. Everyone was enthusiastic about your proposal. We all agreed on how interesting it will be to adapt the research to Iberoamerica. Also to make a comparison with the research already done by you for Europe. Maybe it will be good to arrange a meeting in order to discuss how to follow. And also to be able to access the research already done. Let us know what you think about it.

Dear Sergio,

Thank you very much for the invitation.
It sounds very interesting and provocative.
In 2008, I and a colleague of mine, had conducted a research on the
geography curricula that were implemented in 30 European countries. It
was very interesting to see the differences and similarities among the
countries. That research was followed by a proposition on the
construction of a European basic geography curriculum in an
International Conference in Estonia.
Since then nothing happened but I think that it will be very
interesting to have a similar research for the countries in South
America. This will help us find the common parts in the European and
South American geography curricula and also any weaknesses on digital
geography.
It will be something to start with and to have a common base.
If you find this interesting you may discuss it with your colleagues.

If there is something I can do to help please let me know
