Dear Sergio,

Thank you very much for the invitation.
It sounds very interesting and provocative.
In 2008, I and a colleague of mine, had conducted a research on the
geography curricula that were implemented in 30 European countries. It
was very interesting to see the differences and similarities among the
countries. That research was followed by a proposition on the
construction of a European basic geography curriculum in an
International Conference in Estonia.
Since then nothing happened but I think that it will be very
interesting to have a similar research for the countries in South
America. This will help us find the common parts in the European and
South American geography curricula and also any weaknesses on digital
geography.
It will be something to start with and to have a common base.
If you find this interesting you may discuss it with your colleagues.
