Yes, i think it is time for all labs to have their basic website ready as esp those ones we have very little contact other than their initial interest and mail to setup lab.
So could i request that the following labs please update the status of their progress
* National Amazonian University of Madre de Dios (UNAMAD), Peru
* National College of Public Administration and Governance (NCPAG), University of the Philippines
* Environmental Science for Social Change (ESSC), Philippines
* Regional Centre for Mapping of Resources for Development (RCMRD), Kenya
* University of Ghana, Ghana
Individual lab websites are also important for us to get an idea of educational, research activities as well as the people in each lab.
We have now reached a stage where we need to make sure only the active ones are listed. I was checking through our list at http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/Edu_current_initiatives and most labs have setup weblinks. Thanks for all who did this.
We welcome all who follow the ICA-OSGeo MoU principles http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/MOU_ICA to join our lab network and establish Open Source Geospatial Labs.
Manuel, we are waiting to hear news from you on the main website for the network.

Additional remark:
I tried to figure out the locations, but not everywhere I was successful (also to limited time ressources), i.e. for the Amazonian University...
Please update the location of your lab!
Regards
Franz-Josef

Hi All,
Thanks to Franz-Josef for emailing this draft map of the ICA-OSGeo Labs
https://maps.google.de/maps/ms?msid=217919488281947849251.0004da7def3b647f010c4&msa=0&ll=-27.332735,-43.330078&spn=18.234488,25.158691
It is really good to see in a map our global spread.
Manuel, maybe you can use this idea to expand adding urls etc for the labs in the website. Thanks.
Suchith
