Yes, i also agree that we need to rotate our monthly meeting times to shift between East and West. We can keep the next meeting date as 5th Sep but change the meeting time if that is okay for all.
Phillip, could i request you to let us know other timeslots that are fine for you to host the meeting on 5th Sep, so we can change the meeting time.
Also the recording of yesterday's meeting is now available at http://delmarcollege.adobeconnect.com/p30v7gob527/ . Many thanks to Kimberly for this.
Another thing i forgot to update on yesterday's meeting (because of time limitation) was the SIGTE's excellent organisation of the 4th edition of the Open Source GIS Summer School earlier this month. Many thanks to Lluís and SIGTE colleagues for providing leadership in this and very happy to see this grow every year and helping spread knowledge and empowering new generation of students.
The teaching materials are also available online at http://www.sigte.udg.edu/summerschool2013/ for the benefit of the wider community.

That sounds like a plan. On our standards projects we have also learnt that there is no single time slot that suits all parts of the globe.

Hi Chris,
It is great that you want to participate in this. This is hard to find a time that works for the entire globe. We've tried this before with OSGeo edu meetings. But it is a nice problem to have!
Unless someone has a better idea, Suchith, my suggestion is that we have monthly meetings that shift between West and East so that our friends in Australia and other countries in that region can participate. We then record the meetings so whatever time zones can't make it can watch the meeting that they missed.
So in short, two different time zone meetings that shift monthly?
Cheers,
Charlie Schweik

Dear Suchith and all,
We at the Melbourne University are keen to become more involved in the
labs and the associated meetings. I am looking forward to meeting a number
of you in Dresden.
Wondering if if it might be possible to move the meeting time to at least
3 hrs earlier?
Currently 14:00 UTC is midnight in Australia. A 9pm meeting or earlier
would be much appreciated.
Thanks
