are you aware that the term OpenGIS is a registered trademarks of the
OGC? [1] So far I assumed that it is just being used as a convenient
working title. If we want to use the term OpenGIS in URLs, webinar
titles and similar in a more permanent context we must contact OGC and
ask for permission. I would not be surprised if they would be hesitant
because they are obviously not all about Open Source only but make a
point about being neutral in this aspect. I think Luis is on this
list, maybe he can pick this up and give us more educated feedback
than I can.
