Dear Colleagues,
This is a request for inputs. I am interested to get updates from anyone who is involved in teaching surveying (both at undergraduate and postgraduate level) from universities globally on any modules you are running on VGI collection, dissemination, analysis, maintenance, and visualisation including applications of VGI in managing the built environment, legalisation monitoring, property registration, planning reforms etc
I have been invited by the International Federation of Surveyors (FIG) for delivering keynote address on "Open Geospatial Science and its role in Surveying education" at the Annual conference and Meeting of FIG Commission III that will be held in Bologna (Italy) from 4th -7th November 2014 and i would like to include latest developments in these themes. Please email me any details on your courses/lectures in these topics and i will be pleased to include them in my presentation and will acknowledge your contribution.
Conference details at http://com3fig.wix.com/fig-commission3-2014#
Thanks in advance for your help. Also if you are attending Bologna conference, please let me know.
Best wishes,
Suchith
