[Ica-osgeo-labs] Meeting at FOSS4G-Como

Hi All :-)

We have so limited time in Como - so I suggest that we set up an Agenda for each meeting -  and prepare or even discuss online before we meet.

I would like to meet and talk about: 
1: Platforms for sharing curriculum. Ex: GeoAcademys courses on a platform where you as a lecturer can Drag´n Drop lectures an then present a course. Does anyone know such a platform?
2: QGIS: Start a cooperation where we start groups - each having responsebilities for creating new lectures/cases, updating ect.

If we have spesific agenda for each meeting we can actually come further than just start up :-)

Yes, it's true. 

Charlie and Suchith organized the GeoForAll meetings and I already booked rooms for them (you find mails in the mailing list) I believed Jeff wanted to add more meetings. Please at this point clarify.

On the opposite Anne Ghisla and I (as chairs) proposed the GeoForAll  Europe, and I confirm that this one is Thursday July 16th, 5:30 in room 3.5.

Hmm, earlier someone (I think Suchith Anand) also sent info on BoFs (see
below) how does that relate to your suggestion?

"1) Tuesday July 14th, 8:30-11:30 am - GeoForAll pre-conference meeting.
hall of Via Natta building. Topics:

1a. Certification: Phil Davis has agreed to give us an update on where we are on the certification discussion and lead further discussion on that topic. (Thanks Phil) 1b. Educational content curation strategies 1c. GeoForAll and its connection to firms.

That's probably enough -- but if anyone has any other pressing issues while some of us are together let me know.

2) Thursday July 16th, 5:30 room 3.5 at Politecnico di Milano -- GeoForAll Europe meeting.
(This is a good idea... any other regions have a group attending and want to meet up?)

3) Friday July 17th, 12:00-13:00 room 3.6 -- GeoForAll Bird's of a Feather

Open session to plan our collective activities after reflecting on the conference experiences

4) Saturday July 18th - 8:30-11:30 hall of Via Natta building -- GeoForAll 'Grant Sprint'

- Some focus on the US SmartCity grant proposal, hopefully at least another one focused on Europe.
- If anyone is thinking about responding to a call to support our group and will be there, let me (Charlie) know.
