Thanks Charlie.

One point to add is that to make this meeting productive and actions specific, we have to limit the size to maximum 30.

For those interested to be involved in "Grant Sprint" for planning bids to H2020 (in addition to universities and government organisations, we want to also involve SMEs working in Open Geospatial to strengthen the consortium and also this is needed for the requirements of evaluation criteria), so interested collaborators will need to also participate in the teleconferences that we will be arranging before the events, to build up and plan ideas , so we can make the best use of time and resources at FOSS4G-Europe2015. Thanks.

Suchith

***** DETAILS ******************************************************************

The main conference dates are July 14 (workshops), July 15-17 (main conference, and July 18 (code sprints). We would like to hold a meeting for some substantive discussions before, on Friday, and perhaps after, the conference.

** July 13th or 14th: GeoForAll substantive meeting on three topics (TBD). Possible items are (1) certification issues and (2) educational content curation.

** Friday, July 17th, 12 noon - 1pm: GeoForAll Birds of a Feather lunch meeting – discuss any new ideas that came up during the conference.

** Saturday, July 18th: A “Grant Sprint” on Saturday July 18th where whoever is available can work together on grant proposal content. Focus should be on European opportunities such as H2020 SME, but possibly a second group working on the US RCN Urban Science proposal. Other ideas are welcome!
