The Association of Geographic Laboratories in Europe<http://www.agile-online.org> (AGILE), its Special Interest Group in Geospatial Thinking, and the European GEOTHNK project* (www.geothnk.eu<http://www.geothnk.eu/>) invite you to participate in the Workshop "Geospatial Thinking: Research, educational and societal aspects" to be developed into AGILE Conference 2015<http://www.agile-online.org/index.php/conference/conference-2015?layout=edit&id=249>, next June in Lisbon (Portugal).
The development of geospatial thinking skills is the key to the increase of highly skilled citizens not only regarding geospatial disciplines (such as Geography, Environment, Geology, Cartography, etc.) but also in social sciences and humanities. The objectives of the workshop are to present the main aspects of geospatial thinking towards building a geospatially thinking society.

Contributors are invited to submit short papers which topics include, but are not limited to:



 *   spatial thinking

 *   geospatial education

 *   geospatial semantics in education

 *   ICT platforms for spatial teaching and learning

 *   open resources for geospatial education

 *   digital agenda for Europe

 *   ...

The workshop is open to all interested. There is no fee for the participants. Its cost will be covered by AGILE's GEOTHNK project. A certificate of attendance will be issued at the end of the workshop.
