[Ica-osgeo-labs] Geography 2050: Call for proposals (papers and lightning talks)

I am chair of the American Geographical Society’s Fall Symposium - Geography 2050:  Exploring Our Future in an Urbanized World (www.geography2050.org).  We happen to have a call for papers out right now, which closes in a couple weeks - http://www.geography2050.org/docs/CallForPapersFINAL.pdf .  Sorry, but I didn’t think to send it out to this list until I saw Charles’ call for papers today.  But, there is still time!

The Symposium is all about the trends that will reshape the future geography of our planet by 2050.  Last year, urbanization repeatedly emerged as a major force across every theme of our conference.  So, this year, we that will be our focus.

Please give it a read, and pass it around far and wide!  We are looking for big thinkers committed to understanding our planet’s future geographically.

And if you do not want to present, but have a recommendation for great thinkers from government, industry, academe and the social sector, please drop me a line and tell me about them!
