Hi Suchith,

Environment Canada's weather data is free and available under an open data license. Current data can be accessed on MSC Datamart<http://dd.weather.gc.ca/about_dd_apropos.txt> and through geospatial web services (WMS, WCS, WFS) from MSC GeoMet<https://ec.gc.ca/meteo-weather/default.asp?lang=En&n=C0D9B3D8-1>: https://ec.gc.ca/meteo-weather/default.asp?lang=En&n=C0D9B3D8-1

For historical data, the data is free but there's a small fee for the retrieval process. Please contact ec.dps-client.ec at canada.ca<mailto:ec.dps-client.ec at canada.ca> if interested. You'll probably be looking for data from the Global Deterministic Prediction System (GDPS) Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP) model. There's at least the past 5 years of global weather variables available from that source.
