Hi Berend,

 

please let me try to clarify another misunderstanding: 

the division of the horizon into 12 directions is an open principle for
education, safety (danger from your 2 o'clock) etc.

 

So it's not fair to compare open principles with an agreement for example
with the Metro (Tokyo, Teheran etc.) who

 

-         wants better tools for the blind etc. than those who universities
(your?) actually recommend.

-         orders exclusive brand names, signage, pictograms, logos, apps
etc. around the open principles

-         respect and promote the merit principle and knows that what costs
little is/can be worth less     

 

Of course, opinions can differ (for example, not everybody is happy about 3
words, see what3fucks.com), but I'm visually impaired (keratokonus) and I'm
sad about that even "open" groups don't care about our problems, more than
that, block any discussions with weak arguments.
