[Geo4All] [OSGeo-Discuss] The Rise of Open Street Map as a World Mapping Agency

Hi,

these are really good news. I wanted to add 2 Cents in the form, that we
might encourage our local OSGeo chapters for a close relationship to the
local OSM communities.

FOSSGIS, the german speaking local OSGeo chapter for example, stands
also for the german speaking OSM community. On our annual FOSSGIS
conference we bring both communities together. We have tracks with
emphasis on OSM and with emphasis on FOSS (also with emphasis on both of
course). Also, we support FOSS and OSM projects with sponsorship and
funding money.

As said, just 2 Cents ...
