Yes,  http://opensourcegeospatial.icaci.org  can be a feed of news items to the new GeoForAll community news in the new website (along with any other appropriate sources). That way all the new developments are constantly updated in the new website.

btw I might have somehow missed your mail on survey form you mentioned. Will it be possible to resend it when you get time . Thanks.
