Would you be interested in contributing to and piloting Contemporary
Urban and Community Planning Innovation on a small village scale in
Uganda. The Village is called Kabuma and lies just a few kilometers
outside of Kampala Central Business District.

With lack of traditional infrastructure, amenities and utility
infrastructure network and system, you can test off-grid technologies
to grow organically to other surrounding hills for waste geospatial
technologies for security, home monitoring, water handling/recycling,
off-grid fixed telephony, off- grid power, solar street lights,
sustainable drainage system(SUDS) for storm water, off –grid internet,
data communication, solar streets etc.

What is the adoptability and absorption rate of contemporary urban
culture in a semi-developed white collar community? What would
specialists and experts in smart cities, IoT, ICT, Urban
Infrastructure & Utilities, Urban Investors, Off Grid Technology,
BigData , AI, UV etc. have to offer to this small village and how will
smart growth evolve overtime

mail ir at uidc-ea.org for the concept note.

Best Wishes
