Dear colleagues,

US Geological Service is considering charging for increased resolution
Landsat  satellite images - which means they couldn't be used for most
conservation purposes, likely hindering achievement of Sustainable
Development Goals. Researchers from several institutions have urged
the USGS to reconsider their position and continue to provide data
from the Landsat program freely to all users. This is the link to the
