Dear All,
This is a call to support the PhD work of a former JRC colleague Levente Juhasz (in cc). I hope you find his work interesting and are willing to help out!!
In a new research Levente trying to understand how people use different online services and how this is reflected in the spatial footprints of people's online presence. To study this, he need lots of data so he is looking for people who would voluntarily share their online profiles with him. He have set up a website where anyone could connect their different social media profiles (Instagram, Twitter, Meetup, etc.) and allow him to collect some location data from them. The website is live at: https://research.jlevente.com<https://research.jlevente.com/>. Participation is voluntary and all data will be kept safe and anonymized!
The workflow is simple:
1. Go to https://research.jlevente.com<https://research.jlevente.com/>
2. Go to the "Social accounts" tab
3. Log in with a provider (e.g. Flickr, Instagram, Twitter, OSM)
4. Connect your other social apps (the point of this research is study activities of the same person in multiple services, so the more platforms you connect the better it is for us)
More info about the research can be found on the website. He would be happy to discuss any questions and concerns (levente.juhasz at ufl.edu<mailto:levente.juhasz at ufl.edu>). Please also consider sharing the website with those who you think might be interested in helping out.
Thank you and have a nice rest of the day,
Sven
