[Geo4All] shapefile request

Continent outlines are generally going to be stored in geographic coordinates, e.g. from this location:

	http://thematicmapping.org/downloads/world_borders.php <http://thematicmapping.org/downloads/world_borders.php>

Use this information for your mapping program to project it to Gall-Peters (Gall did it first, so that’s the “official” designation):

	https://spatialreference.org/ref/sr-org/22/ <https://spatialreference.org/ref/sr-org/22/>

For QGIS:

	Menu Settings > Custom CRS…
	In the dialog Custom Coordinate Reference System Definition, click on the +
	In the field Name, type Gall-Peters
	In the field Parameters, type +proj=cea +lon_0=0 +lat_ts=45 +x_0=0 +y_0=0 +ellps=WGS84 +units=m +no_defs
	Click OK
