Greetings,

The Geospatial Software Institute (GSI) conceptualization project (https://gsi.cigi.illinois.edu/), along with its partners, recently announced a Geospatial Fellows program to foster collaborative work on advancing COVID-19 research and education. The call for proposals can be found at https://bit.ly/GeospatialFellows and proposals are due by July 31, 2020.

This call has generated tremendous interests from pertinent communities. We are hence organizing a community webinar on this Friday: July 24th between 3 - 4pm Central Time to elaborate details of the Geospatial Fellows program and address any questions that potential applicants might have. Everyone attending this webinar must register (RSVP: https://gsi.cigi.illinois.edu/gsi-covid-19-webinar/) by July 23rd (Thursday). The coordinates of the webinar will be sent to you via email once you register for the event.

Best regards,
-Shaowen
