Dear friends,

I would be grateful if you could bring the following opportunity to the 
attention of anyone you think may be interested.

The EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Geospatial Systems, led by 
Newcastle University in the UK, has c*. 12 fully-funded 4-year 
studentships *available for entry in*September 2023*. Applicants can 
apply for one of a number of different projects that are advertised at 
either Newcastle University or the University of Nottingham, or propose 
their own. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and 30% of the 
available studentships are available for international (inc. EU) 
applicants, with international fee top-ups provided by Newcastle / 
Nottingham. The funding package includes a research training and support 
grant of £22,000 per student. Students graduate with both a MRes (year 
1) and PhD (year 4). *Deadline for applications is 29 January 2023*.
