Dear all,

 

We are very happy to announce the launch of the Digital Agri Hub
<http://www.digitalagrihub.org/>  for Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC).

 

The event will take place on January 18th, 2022 (Guatemala and Honduras
09:00, Peru 10:00, Bolivia 11:00, CET 16:00). It will explore with key
stakeholders the present and potential of digitalisation for agriculture
(D4Ag), with a special attention to small scale producers and their
organisations. In the event we will present the activities of the Digital
Agri Hub, the experience in the context of the project AGRIdigitalización
<http://www.agriterra.org/AGRIdigitalizacion>  and we will also showcase the
work of a number of D4Ag service providers operating in LAC. It is
co-organized by the Digital Agri Hub and Agriterra
<http://www.agriterra.org/> .   The event will be held in Spanish and  will
include a simultaneous interpretation service Spanish to English, for the
plenary sessions.

 

Digital Agri Hub is a project funded by Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation,
FCDO and USAID. The project AGRIdigitalización is financed by IFAD and
implemented by Agriterra in alliance with Agros International, Funder and
IICA.

Latinoamérica y el Caribe (LAC).

interés clave la situación actual y el potencial de la digitalización para
la agricultura (D4Ag), pondremos especial atención a los pequeños
