Dear colleagues
ISRO has released data from the Chandrayaan-3 mission for global research, celebrating the first anniversary of India’s Moon landing. Indian Space Science Data Center (ISSDC) is the nodal center for archiving planetary missions' data of ISRO.
Chandrayaan-3 datasets are now available on PRADAN (Policy based data Retrieval, Analytics, Dissemination And Notification system) which is a browse and dissemination web application, designed by ISSDC to disseminate Chandrayaan data to the scientific community.
More details at https://www.isro.gov.in/Release_of_Chandrayaan-3_science_data_to_the_Scientific_Community.html

I thank ISRO for making available Chandrayaan-3 science data for the global scientific community.
Best wishes
Suchith

Subject: National Space Day 2024 - Moon had an ancient magma ocean -Data from India’s Chandrayaan-3 mission reveals
Dear colleagues
In less than a year since India's historic landing on the south pole of the moon, the nation's Chandrayaan-3 mission<https://www.usatoday.com/story/graphics/2023/09/06/chandrayaan-3-rover-findings-lunar-sunrise/70765182007/> is already providing scientists back on Earth with data shedding light on the lunar surface.
A team of Indian researchers uncovered evidence that a vast magma ocean may once have existed on the moon's south pole, which until now has remained largely shrouded in mystery. The researchers' findings were published this Wednesday in the journal Nature<https://www.nature.com/articles/s41586-024-07870-7>.

This findings on the week of National Space Day (23 August 2024) is excellent news for whole scientific community.

India’s space mission will inspire millions of students from all over the world (including students from economically poor backgrounds in the Global South) to STEM education and space science education.
India’s idea of ‘One Earth, One Family, One Future’ is resonating across the world. This human-centric approach has been welcomed by all. India’s space mission is also based on this principle. India’s success belongs to all of humanity.
Best wishes
Suchith
